2nd Session of YNU-LIFAN motorcycle service class concludes in Myanmar

On April 8, the second session of Yunnan University (YNU) – Myanmar-China Friendship Vocational Academy motorcycle service class, co-organized by LIFAN, held graduation ceremony in Jin Taw Yan, Mandala, the second largest city of Myanmar.

U Khin Maung Htay, Mandalay Region Hluttaw Deputy Speaker,Dr. Kyaw Than Tun, Amyotha Hluttaw (House of Nationalities) MP, U Po Myint, Chairman of Myanmar-China Friendship Association(Mandalay), and Huang Pengfei, Chairman of Jin Taw Yan Buddhist Charity Association, addressed the ceremony. Training lecturer Zhou Yangbo from product dept. of LIFAN Motorcycle Overseas pision and a representative of the training class students also delivered speeches on stage. The guests then issued certificate of graduation to the students with group photo taken.

The YNU-Myanmar-China Friendship Vocational Academy (referred to as MCVA) motorcycle service training class is co-organized by Myanmar-China Friendship Association(Mandalay), Mandalay Region Hluttaw (Parliament), MCVA,Chongqing Lifan Industries (Group) Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd, Jin Taw Yan Buddhist Charity Association,Northern Myanmar Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Mandalay Overseas Chinese Service Center, collaborated with Mandalay Fuqing School Confucius Classroom & PaukPhaw.com. During the ten-days training class opened in Jin Taw Yan, Mandalay on March 30, senior technicians from LIFAN Motorcycle Overseas Product Dept., Zhou Yangbo and Zhou Nengquan, lectured on basics of motorcycle service and demonstrated maintenance skills to over thirty students as well as instructed them in practice.

Initiated by YNU, Mandalay Fuqing School and Myanmar-China Friendship Association(Mandalay), the MCVA is aimed at training and providing excellent local technicians for Myanmar, thus topromotelocal social andeconomicdevelopment and enhance friendly relationships between China and Myanmar. It has become one of the major vocational education bases in northern Myanmar and even the whole nation since founded in 2017.

In course setting, The MCVA conducts vocational and technical talents cultivation and training centered on regional “Belt and Road” major construction projects to meet ongoing demand for high-competent labor and vocational talents in Myanmar’s future development, and to encourage local youth employment and start-ups. The YNU-LIFAN motorcycle service class is one of the professional technical training courses opened for local people’s livelihood needs.

According to Chaser Cui, Asst. Manager of LIFAN Motorcycle Overseas pision in charge of Myanmar sales, the students in MCVA motorcycle service class are young people from Mandalay and the surrounding areas, many of whom will be working in local motorcycle companies and service centers after training. In future LIFAN will continue participating in and support local livelihood projects and contributing to Myanmar’s social and economic development as well as China-Myanmar friendship.
