As a regular exhibitor of China Import and Export Fair (also known as the Canton Fair), LIFAN Motorcycle unveiled its 2018 lineup during the 123rd spring session opened in Guangzhou on April 15th.
Aside from best sellers of last year, the V16, KPT200, CT-Ray and electric scooter E3, 2018 new models including the KP250 and the KPM are also displayed to the public in Pazhou Complex, venue of the 123rd Canton Fair.
With attractively sharp bodywork, outstanding power performance and great handling, the newly-released street bike KP250 has become one of the most popular exhibits at the Fair. The 200cc modern classic KPM also won a lot of attention at its debut.
Since the opening on April 15, crowds of buyers and visitors flood into LIFAN's booth at Hall 13.1 in Area B to get an up-close experience with the latest models. Orders worth nearly ten million US dollars were placed in the first three days of the Fair.
LIFAN motorcycles have seen a steady growth in overseas sales in the first quarter of 2018, with an optimistic increase over 20%. In the first two days of the Fair, LIFAN have already signed several sales contracts with distributors from abroad, including exporting over ten thousand units to the Philippines, one of the most prosperous two-wheel market.
James Kang, Deputy General Manager of LIFAN Motorcycle Overseas Division, credits LIFAN's success in foreign market to impressive styling, leading water-cooling and fuel injection system, Euro 4 compliance and other advantages that gave competitive edge to its products.
Among others, the e-scooter LIFAN E3 has been warmly welcomed especially in European and South American countries, with over 400 units booked during the Fair. Its stylish look, compact size, extra-long range plus CAN-bus communication protocol make a perfect vehicle for urban commuters.
With rising concern about global pollution and tightening regulations on emission control, the international market is seeking for more environment-friendly solutions. New-energy motorcycles promise a flourishing business providing greener alternatives to gas motorcycles.
"The Canton Fair offer Chinese brand a platform to show our strengths and help establish a closer partnership with clients all over the world, and LIFAN will deepen its exploration and expand our presence in the global market", said James Kang at the end of the interview.
